In the late 2000s, Turkey’s information technology sector was experiencing rapid growth. However, Taiwanese and Chinese manufacturers, despite producing world-class products, struggled to succeed in Turkey due to cultural differences, local regulations, and distribution challenges. Seeing this gap, I founded Loceye International Hong Kong Ltd in Istanbul in October 2009. The name “Loceye,” short for “local eye,” reflected our vision to be the trusted local partner for Far Eastern manufacturers entering the Turkish market.
Loceye went beyond being a typical agent or distributor, offering end-to-end services such as strategic market research, sales channel development, contract management, marketing, and on-the-ground support. This approach led to major achievements, including helping ASRock reach a top-three position in Turkey’s motherboard market and facilitating the sale of over 100,000 Huntkey PC chassis. We also provided tailored solutions and sustainable growth for brands like Infortrend, Foxconn, Powercolor, and Transcend.
For seven years, Loceye combined the roles of consultant, country manager, cultural bridge, and commercial operator, enabling Asian technology manufacturers to enter Turkey with confidence and strengthen their brands. After concluding operations in 2016, the company remains a digital monument to these successes and connections—proving the value of vision, expertise, and collaboration in international business.
Orchestrated the successful launch and market entry of multiple Asian IT brands, including ASRock, Infortrend, Foxconn, Huntkey, and Transcend, by acting as their dedicated Country Manager or Sales/Marketing Representative in Türkiye.
Developed and executed a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for ASRock motherboards, establishing robust distribution channels and driving the brand to a Top 3 market share position in Türkiye.
Facilitated the sale of over 100,000 PC chassis for Huntkey to a leading Turkish System Integrator through strategic relationship management and targeted sales efforts.
